Howdy. How’s everyone doing? Last week I asked a question that has divided cottages for decides — do you prefer spider dogs or s’mores? Today, we have an answer.

S’mores was chosen by 63% of voters. I’m sorry spider dog fans, the people have spoken.

Today’s read time: 5 minutes.

A Mojito mocktail that’s perfect for the dock, or a mid-afternoon Zoom call 🍹

Ingredients

  • 10 fresh mint leaves

  • 1 lime, cut into wedges

  • 2 tablespoons sugar or simple syrup

  • 1 cups ice cubes

  • 1 cups soda water

  • 2 lime wheel and mint sprig for garnish

Steps

  1. In the bottom of a glass, add 10 fresh mint leaves and 1 lime, cut into wedges. Gently muddle with a spoon or muddler to release the mint oils and lime juice — don't shred the mint too much.

  2. Add 2 tablespoons sugar or simple syrup to the glass and stir to combine with the muddled mint and lime.

  3. Fill with ice and Top with soda water

  4. Give it a gentle stir to combine, then garnish with 2 lime wheel and mint sprig for garnish. Serve immediately with a straw.

Pro tip: For a fruitier twist, muddle in a few berries or add a splash of pineapple or cranberry juice. 🍍🍓
